Natural Park of "Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina" Aljezur is situated in the Natural Park. Aljezur This village is from the Xth century and has an Arab origin. There you can admire the octagonal castle with two towers and a cistern, but it was very damaged by the earthquake in 1755.
